At Cedar Studio Outdoor learning, we believe that children learn the best through connection with nature, with one another, and with the community around them. Our outdoor, Land-based program encourages curiosity, respect, and care for the environment. We are committed to creating a space where every child feels a sense of belonging, joy, and wonder in their daily experiences.

Children are given the time and freedom to immerse themselves in meaningful play without the pressure of a rushed or rigid schedule.

We nurture curiosity by welcoming questions, encouraging exploration, and allowing children to follow their natural interests. Through hands-on adventures often messy and always meaningful — children learn by doing, especially while exploring the natural world.

By supporting independence and self-direction, children build the confidence to make choices and trust their abilities.
Nature-Inspired Academic
Our program goes far beyond “just playing.” Every hands-on, outdoor experience is intentionally designed to build early literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, language, and critical thinking skills. We tailor learning to each child, ensuring they develop the focus, confidence, independence, and social skills needed to be truly kindergarten-ready. By blending strong academic foundations with meaningful nature-based exploration, we prepare children for both school
and life.
